Effective 23 September 2026
MeetGreet Event Terms
CoHub Pty Ltd (ACN 701 652 557, ABN 88 701 652 557) — the agreement formed between a host and an attendee each time a place at a paid MeetGreet event is bought. Market: Australia (national). Last updated 23 September 2026.
This document applies only to paid events. Free MeetGreet events and free CoHub Live sessions are unchanged: an RSVP is an indication that you intend to come, nothing is charged, and the Platform Terms of Service alone apply. Schedule 1 below records the details specific to each event and ticket; Sections 1–15 are the fixed terms that apply to every paid event.
Schedule 1 — Event Details
This Schedule is compiled from the event listing and the ticket at the time the Attendee pays, forming part of this Agreement. Fields marked with an example are populated per event; all other terms are fixed for every paid MeetGreet event.
| Host | The member hosting the event, as verified on the Platform. |
| Attendee | The member buying a place, as verified on the Platform. |
| Event | Event title. |
| Date and time | The event's date, start time and (if given) end time, as listed. |
| Where the event is held | The listed suburb and address for an in-person event, or the meeting link for a CoHub Live (online) event. |
| Ticket price | $ amount — the price shown on the event page at the time the place was bought. |
| Service Fee | $ amount, being 15% of the ticket price, deducted from the Host's payout. Not charged to the Attendee — the Attendee pays exactly the ticket price shown. |
| Total paid by Attendee | $ amount. |
| Places bought | One. CoHub sells one place per member per event. |
| Cancellation policy | Full refund if the Attendee cancels at least 48 hours before the start time. No refund inside that window. Full refund regardless of timing if the Host cancels the event or changes its date, time or location. |
| Event reference | Event ID / Ticket ID. |
| Date this Agreement formed | Date and time the Attendee's payment was taken. |
1. Parties, Formation and Scope
These MeetGreet Event Terms (“Agreement”) are between the Host and the Attendee named in Schedule 1.
This Agreement applies only to a paid MeetGreet event — one where the Host has set a ticket price and the Attendee has paid it. It is formed electronically, without a wet signature, at the moment the Attendee’s payment is taken. The ticket confirmation, this Agreement, and the event listing (including its description) together record its terms.
Free MeetGreet events and CoHub Live sessions are not covered by this Agreement. An RSVP to a free event is an indication that you intend to come, not a purchase, and it is governed by the Platform Terms of Service alone.
CoHub is not a party to this Agreement. CoHub lists the event, reviews it before it goes live, sells the place and processes payment via Stripe Connect, but the event itself is run by the Host, and the agreement to attend it is between the Host and the Attendee directly. Section 11 sets out CoHub’s role in more detail.
This Agreement should be read together with the event listing, the CoHub Platform Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy and the Community Guidelines. To the extent there is an inconsistency, the order of priority is: mandatory law, Schedule 1, this Agreement, the event listing and description, then the Platform Terms of Service — except that CoHub’s own rights, fees, platform powers, privacy handling and liability limits remain governed by the Platform Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. What a Ticket Buys
A ticket entitles the named Attendee to one place at the event described in Schedule 1, on the date, at the time, and at the location or meeting link listed. It is personal to that Attendee: it is not transferable, cannot be resold, and does not admit a guest or a colleague unless the Host agrees separately. CoHub sells one place per member per event.
A ticket does not include travel, parking, accommodation, food or drink unless the event listing says so. Where the listing promises something specific — a meal, a workshop workbook, a certificate of attendance, a recording afterwards — that promise forms part of this Agreement and the Host must deliver it.
The Host is responsible for the event actually being what the listing described. An event that is materially different from its listing entitles the Attendee to a refund under Section 6, and may also give rise to Australian Consumer Law rights under Section 12.
3. Price, Service Fee and Payment
The Attendee pays exactly the ticket price shown on the event page. Payment is taken in full at the time the place is bought — it is not held and charged later, and there is no separate booking fee added on top.
CoHub’s Service Fee of 15% of the ticket price is deducted from the Host’s payout, not added to the Attendee’s price. The balance is transferred to the Host’s connected Stripe account. The Host must have a connected Stripe account before an event can charge for a place: CoHub does not hold event money on a Host’s behalf.
The ticket price is inclusive of GST where the Host is registered for GST. The Host is responsible for their own tax, GST registration, reporting and for issuing any tax invoice an Attendee asks for; CoHub issues no tax invoice on the Host’s behalf and gives no tax advice to either party.
The founding-member fee waivers described on the Fees page apply to a Host’s first space Booking and a Worker’s first Task. They do not extend to event tickets — the Service Fee above applies to every paid event.
4. Host Obligations
- Run the event on the date, at the time, and at the location or meeting link listed, and be there to run it.
- Describe the event honestly, including what is and isn’t included in the price, and who is actually organising it where that is someone other than the Host.
- Hold the right to use the venue for the event — a booking, a licence, a lease, the venue owner’s permission, or a CoHub space Booking of their own. Selling places at a venue the Host has no right to use is a breach of this Agreement and of the Platform Terms of Service.
- Hold every licence, permit, approval and insurance the event requires by law — including any liquor licence or permit where alcohol is served or sold, food handling requirements where food is provided, and public liability cover appropriate to the kind and size of the event. CoHub does not verify these.
- Comply with all applicable work health and safety, accessibility, anti-discrimination, public-health and noise or nuisance obligations for the event.
- Keep attendee details private and use them only to run this event — see Section 13.
- Tell ticket holders promptly, through the Platform, if anything about the event changes.
- Refund ticket holders as set out in Section 6.
5. Attendee Obligations
- Turn up on time, or cancel in line with Section 6 so the place can go to someone else.
- Follow the Host’s and the venue’s reasonable directions, including any safety, sign-in or access rules.
- Treat everyone at the event in line with the CoHub Community Guidelines — the same expectations that apply everywhere else on the Platform apply in the room.
- Not record, stream or photograph the event, or any person at it, where the Host or that person has asked you not to.
- Not attend on someone else’s ticket, or pass your own to another person.
A Host may refuse admission to, or remove, an Attendee whose behaviour is unsafe, unlawful, or in clear breach of the Community Guidelines. Where that happens, the Attendee is not entitled to a refund, and either party may report the other to CoHub under the Trust & Safety Policy.
6. Cancellations, Changes and Refunds
If the Attendee cancels. Cancelling at least 48 hours before the event’s start time refunds the ticket in full, including CoHub’s Service Fee. Inside that 48-hour window the ticket is not refundable through the Platform and the full price remains payable, including for a no-show — the same window that applies to space Bookings, and for the same reason: by then the Host is catering, staffing or paying for a venue on the strength of that headcount.
If the Host cancels the event. Every ticket is refunded in full automatically, whatever the timing, including CoHub’s Service Fee. The Host does not keep any part of a cancelled event’s takings.
If the Host changes the event. Where the Host changes the date, time or location after a place was bought, every existing ticket becomes refundable in full at the Attendee’s choice, at any time up until the event starts — not just outside the 48-hour window. An Attendee who is happy with the change simply keeps their ticket and comes.
If the event doesn’t happen as described. Where the Host doesn’t run the event, doesn’t turn up, or runs something materially different from the listing, the Attendee should report it to CoHub. CoHub may refund the ticket and recover the amount from the Host, and repeated failures of this kind are grounds for CoHub to stop that Host selling tickets. Nothing in this paragraph limits the Attendee’s rights under Section 12.
Refunds are returned to the card used to buy the ticket and may take a few business days to appear. Neither party can vary this Section for a single event: the price, the free-or-paid setting and this refund policy are fixed for an event once a place has been sold.
7. Capacity and Admission
Where the Host has set a capacity, CoHub stops selling places once that many tickets have been sold. Where no capacity is set, the Host is responsible for not selling more places than the venue can lawfully and safely hold.
A ticket is the Attendee’s proof of a place. The Host may check identity at the door against the name on the ticket.
8. Online Events
A paid CoHub Live session works the same way, with the meeting link in place of an address. The link is revealed to the Attendee once their place is paid for.
CoHub does not host, record or moderate the call itself — that happens on whatever third-party video platform the Host chose, under that platform’s own terms. The Host is responsible for the link working for the full scheduled time, and for anything that happens on the call. A session the Host does not run, or a link that never works, is a failure to deliver the event under Section 6.
9. Safety, Alcohol and Venues
The Host is responsible for the safety of the event they are running, including a reasonably safe environment, adequate supervision, and compliance with the venue’s own rules and conditions of entry. Where the event is held at a CoHub Space, the Host Licence Agreement for that Booking also applies between the Host and the space’s owner, and nothing in this Agreement overrides it.
Where alcohol is served or sold, the Host is responsible for holding any licence or permit required, for responsible service, and for not serving minors or intoxicated people. Events must not be listed as, or used for, anything unlawful.
10. Liability Between Host and Attendee
Each party is responsible for loss, damage or injury caused by their own act, omission or negligence at or in connection with the event. The Attendee is responsible for their own property brought to the event, and for any damage they cause to the venue or to another person’s property.
Neither party excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or under the Australian Consumer Law.
11. CoHub’s Role
CoHub provides the Platform: it lists the event, reviews it before it goes live, sells the place, takes the payment through Stripe, passes the Host’s share to their connected account, and processes refunds under Section 6. CoHub does not organise, run, supervise, staff, insure or attend the event, does not verify a Host’s licences, permits, insurance or venue rights, and is not the seller of whatever the event itself provides.
CoHub may remove an event, stop a Host selling tickets, or refund ticket holders where it reasonably believes an event breaches the Platform Terms of Service, the Community Guidelines or the law, or where a Host is not delivering the events they are selling. Where CoHub does that, it will tell the Host why and how to ask for the decision to be reviewed — see the Trust & Safety Policy, Section 4.
CoHub’s own liability to either party is governed by the Platform Terms of Service, Section 14.
12. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this Agreement excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where the event is a supply of services to a consumer, those services come with consumer guarantees — including that they will be supplied with due care and skill, and be reasonably fit for the purpose the listing described.
The 48-hour cancellation window in Section 6 is a change-of-mind policy. It does not limit an Attendee’s right to a remedy where the event was not delivered as described, was cancelled by the Host, or failed to meet a consumer guarantee.
13. Attendee Details and Privacy
To run the event, the Host sees the names and CoHub profiles of the people who hold a place. The Host may use those details only to run this event — the headcount, the door, and messages about this event. The Host must not add an Attendee to a mailing list, market to them, or pass their details to anyone else without that Attendee’s consent.
CoHub handles both parties’ personal information under its Privacy Policy. Card details are handled by Stripe and are never seen or stored by CoHub or by the Host.
14. General
- Governing law: New South Wales, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
- Disputes: the parties will first try to resolve a dispute between themselves, through the Platform’s messaging, and may ask CoHub to look at it under the Trust & Safety Policy before taking any other step.
- No partnership: this Agreement does not create a partnership, employment, agency or joint venture between the Host and the Attendee, or between either of them and CoHub.
- Entire agreement: Schedule 1, this Agreement and the event listing record the whole of what was agreed for this event.
- Severability: if any part of this Agreement is unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.
