Fees

CoHub Pty Ltd (ACN 701 652 557, ABN 88 701 652 557) — a plain statement of what CoHub charges and who pays it. Last updated 23 September 2026. The binding version of this lives in the Terms of Service, Section 7, with the per-Booking and per-Task detail in the Host Licence Agreement, the Gigs Agreement and, for a paid event, the MeetGreet Event Terms — if anything here and one of those documents ever disagree, those documents govern.

Joining CoHub is free

Creating an account, browsing Spaces, applying for Gigs, RSVPing to a free MeetGreet event and using Business Connections all cost nothing — no subscription, no listing fee, no charge to sign up. Most MeetGreet events are free. CoHub only ever takes a fee on a completed, paid transaction.

One flat rate: 15%

CoHub takes a flat 15% platform fee (called the Service Fee in our Terms) on every confirmed Space Booking, every completed Gigs hire, and every ticket to a paid MeetGreet event. It’s always deducted from the side getting paid, and it’s never added on top of what a guest or a poster pays — the price you see is the price you pay.

  • Booking a Space: the guest pays the listed price, no booking fee added. The Host receives that price minus 15%.
  • Hiring on Gigs: the poster pays the agreed price, nothing added at hire. The Worker is paid that price minus 15% once the job’s confirmed done.
  • A paid MeetGreet event: the attendee pays the ticket price shown, with nothing added at checkout. The host receives that price minus 15% as each place sells. Free events stay free — there’s no fee on an RSVP, because there’s no payment.

Two current offers that waive it

While CoHub is building up its first local listings and workers, two founding-member offers currently reduce that fee to nothing:

  • The first 50 Hosts to list a Space pay 0% fee on that listing’s first confirmed Booking.
  • The first 25 people hired on CoHub Gigs pay 0% fee on their first accepted Gig.

One waiver per member, applied automatically, allocated in the order listings go live or hires are made. We can withdraw an offer that hasn’t been claimed yet — but if you’ve already been told your booking or gig is fee-free, that stays yours until you use it. Neither offer extends to paid MeetGreet events: the 15% Service Fee applies to every ticket.

Cancellations

Cancel a Space Booking, or a ticket to a paid MeetGreet event, more than 48 hours before it starts and you get a full refund, including CoHub’s fee — nothing is kept on a cancellation made in that window. Inside 48 hours, neither can be cancelled through CoHub and the full price stands. See How Spaces works for the full booking policy, and the MeetGreet Event Terms for events.

Two things sit outside that window: if an event host cancels the event, or changes its date, time or location, every ticket holder is refunded in full whatever the timing. And cancelling an RSVP to a free event costs nothing at any point — there was never a payment to refund.

If a host can’t honour a confirmed booking, they contact CoHub and we cancel it and refund you in full, fee included, whenever it happens. A host can also decline a request before it’s confirmed, which costs you nothing — your card is only authorised at that point, never charged.
